Feeding
The beagle, like all dogs, is a carnivorous animal. This means that the basic food of your diet must be meat. Therefore, in order for your health, growth and development to be the best, it is very important to give you a high quality feed, which does not carry either cereals or by-products, or even more natural food such as the Barf Diet or the Yum Diet.
Hygiene
Ears
There’s nothing like having a happy... clean dog. Therefore, you should clean your ears (only the ear pavilion, without deepening) once a week with gauze moistened in warm water, or using a eyedrop recommended by a veterinarian.
Eyes
The eyes can be cleaned with moistened gauze in a chamomile infusion once a day. In addition, it may be necessary to cut your eyelashes a little because they tend to grow too much. In case you don’t feel comfortable with the idea, ask your veterinarian to do it for you.
Hair
Once a day it is advisable to brush it, using a soft spike brush. Then, for the hair to look even more beautiful, you can pass the FURminator, which will remove virtually all dead hair, thus preventing it from leaving traces around the house.
Remember to bathe once a month to remove all dirt. If you need to bathe more often, you can use a dry shampoo.
Exercise
